Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes—for 1:1 EMDR therapy only. I am paneled with select providers. Self-guided workbooks and healing networks are not covered by insurance.
What if I want to start with a workbook, but also want therapy?
You can absolutely do both. Many clients begin with self-guided healing and then transition into EMDR sessions—or vice versa. Workbooks help deepen your insight and reinforce the work.
Is a diagnosis required for private pay clients?
No. With private pay, you receive full confidentiality, no required diagnosis, and access to all services without insurance limitations.
Can I use HSA/FSA funds?
Yes, Health Savings (HSA) or Flexible Spending (FSA) cards can typically be used for EMDR therapy. Check with your provider to confirm coverage.
Are the prices the same with insurance?
No. Insurance reimbursement rates are set by your provider and may differ from private pay rates. I’ll work with you to verify coverage before starting.
Do I need to be in California to work with you?
Yes, for 1:1 EMDR therapy you must be a California resident. However, workbooks and healing networks are available to anyone, anywhere.
