Three paths. One foundation.
The scale changes. The work beneath it does not.
Meet Jillian
The person behind the three paths.
Jillian Ellison, LMFT 156597 • EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ • PhD Student in Industrial–Organizational Psychology
Jillian’s work is for the moments when you feel lost inside reactions you understand intellectually but cannot simply stop. When the world or your relationships no longer make sense, trust in yourself has been shaken, or trusting others feels dangerous, even healing can carry another fear: If the ways I survived begin to change, will I lose the person I know myself to be? Therapy is not meant to take over your identity, make you into someone unrecognizable, or strip away what you value.
“I created Beneath the Surface around one conviction: healing should expand the life available to you without erasing the parts of you that made survival possible. You get to keep what you love, value, and recognize as yourself while the parts still protecting you as though the past is present learn that time has moved forward, that you survived, and that they no longer have to carry the whole burden alone. Integration is not engulfment or erasure. It is becoming yourself more fully, with greater room for choice, peace, trust, connection, and agency.”
Beneath every transformation
The same human capacities shape how we heal, relate, and lead.
- Safety
- Trust
- Power
- Choice
- Connection
- Agency
Power can be reclaimed within the self, negotiated within relationships, and held responsibly within the systems we shape.
