Lesson 1.1 – “The In-Between is Where You Heal”: Introductory Video
Healing doesn’t just happen in the therapy chair—it happens in the moments no one else sees. In the pause after a trigger. In the quiet reclaiming of breath. This lesson introduces the soul of the Emotional Stability Network: that emotional regulation isn’t about control—it’s about capacity. You’ll begin your journey here, not by doing more, but by learning to be with what already lives inside you.
“Stability isn’t the absence of emotion—it’s the safety to feel.”

Lesson 1.2 – Nervous System 101: Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn
Your nervous system is your survival map. In this lesson, you’ll learn how your body instinctively responds to perceived threat—and how these responses (fight, flight, freeze, and fawn) shape your emotional world. Through a trauma-informed lens, we’ll explore how these states are not flaws to fix, but brilliant adaptations—and how recognizing them is the first step toward regulation.
“You’re not ‘too much’ or ‘too shut down.’ You’re patterned for protection. Let’s rewire with compassion.”

Lesson 1.3 – Polyvagal Mapping: Where Do I Live Most Often?
This is where insight becomes embodiment. Using the Polyvagal Theory as a guide, we’ll explore the three main nervous system states—ventral (safe/connected), sympathetic (mobilized), and dorsal (shut down). You’ll create your own Polyvagal Map to track how your emotions, thoughts, and body sensations shift across these states—so you can begin to identify how you feel and where you are in your system.
“Regulation starts with awareness. This is your roadmap home.”

Lesson 1.4 – Practice & Integration: Anchor What You’ve Learned
Learning about the nervous system is powerful—but transformation comes from application. These tools invite you to track your patterns, explore your emotional edges creatively, and reflect with depth and care.

Lesson 2.1 – Emotional Suppression vs. Regulation
Not all stillness is peace. And not all quiet is calm.
In this lesson, we name the difference between shutting down your emotions to avoid discomfort… and anchoring in your body so you can move through them.
You’ll learn to recognize when you’re suppressing, performing, or self-abandoning—and how to shift toward gentle regulation instead.

Lesson 2.2 – The Myth of Calmness in Healing
If you’ve ever felt ashamed for not being “zen enough,” this lesson is for you.
We deconstruct the cultural ideal that healing means being calm, quiet, or emotionally flat.
You’ll learn that nervous system regulation is about responsiveness—not silence. It’s about returning to yourself, not erasing your intensity.

Lesson 2.3 – Introducing Somatic Anchors
Emotions move through the body.
So do patterns of shutdown, fawning, or overwhelm.
In this lesson, we introduce somatic anchors—simple physical practices that reconnect you to the present moment.
You’ll learn how to build your own nervous system toolkit, personalized to your needs, energy, and sensory style.
